According to a new study by Logic4training, the demand for heat pump training has skyrocketed since the government revealed its Heat and Buildings Strategy – which includes plans to help subsidise the replacement of gas boilers with heat pumps for 90,000 households.
The study showed that:
Logic4training experienced a huge 6,700% year-on-year increase in online enquiries for heat pump training courses on the day the strategy was announced
Google experienced the highest ever search interest for the query ‘air source heat pump course’ and the highest ever interest in ‘heat pumps’ following the announcement
While gas boilers will still be around for the near future, heat pump courses are designed to give existing plumbing and heating engineers the chance to upskill and help future-proof their business.
