Freedom’s New Partnership with Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi have developed outstanding technology to produce one of the most advanced and efficient heating systems on the market; the Ecodan.   The Ecodan has been designed to suit both domestic and commercial properties as it’s a range of air source and ground/water source heat pump monobloc systems. They’re able to operate singularly or they’re able to form part of multiple unit systems.  

Why have we chosen to work with Mitsubishi?

Mitsubishi Electric has almost 100 years of experience in which they have mastered provided reliable and high-quality products. At Freedom Heat Pumps, we believe in only quality systems. One of Mitsubishi’s key values is to offer support, as well as great products. With this in mind, it just makes sense for us to work with them.  

How are we going to work with Mitsubishi?

Mitsubishi are the market leader in air source heat pumps, they have over 50% market share. Their range of units is ideal for most installations.   But the kit is not the only reason to work with Mitsubishi, they are the first big manufacturers to address the noise issue with heat pumps. When you install a heat pump in your house, you need to be mindful that there is not too much noise to upset your neighbours. MCS has a calculation the installer has to carry out before installation to test the noise the unit will make. It’s called MCS020. Almost every unit on the market typically needs to be 7 metres from the neighbour’s house to pass, the Mitsubishi quiet unit needs to be 1.5 metres away.   Mitsubishi also offers a full maintenance, service and warranty package. In the new build sector its common for the developer to install the unit but not want to look after it and maintain it throughout its life. In ‘boiler land’ it’s normal for the manufacturer to step in at this point and sell the end user a maintenance package and take over. Mitsubishi pioneered this service in heat pumps. The warranty and maintenance package from Mitsubishi is the gold standard we are all measured against. These two features should be enough to convince anyone like Freedom to want to sell the kit, its sales service and hopefully success in a nutshell.
